Registration for the 2010 Standard Chartered Bangkok Marathon opened recently.  The marathon will be held on 21-November, with the start scheduled for 3AM.  

As an overseas runner, I wasn't able to register directly on the marathon site. Registration was handled by Go Adventure Asia, using this link.

Looking forward to wrapping up the run shortly after sunrise and getting cleaned up and over to the Happy Beer Garden later in the day for some much-needed hydration.

In some ways, I think this race may be more difficult than the Comrades Marathon, which I've completed twice.  Although the race mercifully begins at 3AM, it will still be quite steamy with temps in the upper 70s and humidity to match.
